Dr. T.V. Thomas, Chairman
TV was born in Malaysia, educated in India, and served with Asia Youth for Christ and IVCF before coming to Canada to begin theological training in 1971. Following his ordination as an evangelist of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, he was on the teaching faculty of Canadian Bible College and Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina. Since 1994 he has served as Director of The Centre for Evangelism and World Mission. He makes his home in Regina with his wife Mary, and their three children. |

Ronalynn Butler
A newcomer to the Scripture Union board, Ronalynn brings a passion for Jesus and a passion for helping others (especially children), discover the joy of Bible engagement and prayer.
She teaches at a Christian school, attends St. Matthias
Anglican Church and lives near Victoria, British
Columbia. |

Bruce Gray
Bruce was born and raised in Montreal, later moved to Toronto and lived in Sarnia. His formative years were spent in the Salvation Army, and he came to Christ at the age of 13 through his Sunday school teacher. He was Missions Chair at Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Georgetown, Ontario and is currently the Coordinator of Small Groups ministry there. Bruce retired from Imperial Oil in 2005 after 30 years of service and lives in Georgetown with his wife Edie. |

Bill Hockin
Bill has had a long and distinguished ministry in the Anglican Church of Canada, serving churches first in Ontario and later New Brunswick. He served as pastor of St. Paul’s Bloor Street, the largest Anglican church in Canada, and later as the Bishop of Fredericton, overseeing churches in New Brunswick. Bill is a gifted writer and preacher and leads a popular sermon series twice a year in Fredericton, where he and his wife Isabelle make their home. |

Jim Morell
With a special interest in sports and recreation, Jim served as an Assistant Deputy Minister in the New Brunswick provincial government for many years. Currently semi-retired, he continues to consult and teach in the area of management and organizational effectiveness.
A faithful member of Christ Church Cathedral and many volunteer organizations in Fredericton, Jim maintains a high-level of community involvement. He is married to Bev and they have two grown children.

Maggie Norman
Maggie has been a reader of SU Bible notes since her childhood in England, and counts them as a blessing to her spiritual growth over the years. Her life has been shaped by a love of Scripture and she is committed to sharing God’s word with all generations. She attends St. Paul’s Bloor Street in Toronto, where she has served in senior leadership, including the Evangelism Working group which supported Mission Ontario with Billy Graham, the Alpha Program and an Alpha Conference. She has a background in facilities management and is currently employed with the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services as their Accommodations Planning Coordinator. |

Nancy Smail
A strong supporter of SU children’s ministries, Nancy, her husband Doug and three children were involved in summer beach missions in Ontario from 1980 to 1995. She also traveled to Peru in 2005 as part of Scripture Union’s first mission trip outside Canada.
Nancy is an active member of Waverly Road Baptist Church in Toronto where she serves on the Deacon’s board and Worship team. She is employed fulltime in Toronto hospitals as a Mental Health Case Manager and is the proud grandmother of four.

Paul White
Married to Sandy for 33 years with two grown children, Paul pastors the Vineyard Connexxion Church in Peterborough, Ontario and runs his own business called Life Counts, through which he performs weddings, does prayer counseling and conducts seminars around the world. Paul has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School of Deerfield, Illinois. |
