SU Internship

Gear-up for the best summer ever! We’re committed to helping you grow in your love for Jesus and His Word.

Do you want to serve on a ministry team that you’ll share endless jokes with and have life-changing heart to hearts with? Is God calling you to minister to children who will tell you the worst jokes ever, yet make up the best secret handshakes? Yes? Then prayerfully consider submitting your application to be a SU intern.

The SU internship is a ten-week apprenticeship in sports ministry. It begins with two weeks of intense training to learn how to work with children, how to coach, how to lead devotions, and how to serve like Jesus. Then it’s into action serving in teams of four (1 director and 3 coaches) to facilitate summer sports camps in Ontario.

SU is a not-for-profit mission agency that raises income through donations. Intern training is provided free of charge. SU also strives to make it possible for every kid to attend camp and to make this possible we keep camp costs at a bare minimum. To facilitate ministry and training costs, SU staff and interns fundraise to support the ministry. This is also an essential skill to learn, especially for individuals going into ministry. SU will guide and equip you to fundraise. [Note: You don’t fundraise your salary. You fundraise to support the ministry]
